The Medical Lab Technician conducts routine and complex laboratory tests in toxicology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and/or microbiology for use in patient diagnosis and treatment of disease. Come join our team of dedicated professionals that is committed to delivering the best patient care.

• You will perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.

• You will produce accurate results in hematology, serology, chemistry, blood bank, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology and other areas as designated.

• You will maintain quality results by running standards and controls, calibrating equipment utilizing approved testing procedures, verifying equipment function through routine maintenance and monitoring quality control measures and protocols.

• Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification (ASCP or AMT) must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

• Associate Degree

• At least one year hospital experience is preferred

Medical City Fort Worth is a 350+ bed full‑service Magnet Designated hospital. It is located in the heart of the medical district. Medical City Fort Worth serves as a tertiary referral center for Tarrant County and many counties within a 90 mile radius. We offer comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services.
