Position Summary
INTERNSHIP
SUMMARY:
Students will be supervised by a Licensed Social Worker at our Midtown Brances facility in Ft. Worth, TX. Learn how our facility impacts the community and participate in treatment teams with a multidisciplinary team approach.
This is an unpaid internship.
LOCATION: 900 Jerome Street, Ft. Worth, TX 76104
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct Bio-psychosocial assessments
- Discharge planning and identifying resources within the community for aftercare
- Psycho-educational groups and therapeutic processing groups
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program for social work, counseling or other related field and has met the requirements to participate in a practicum/internship
- Letter of recommendation from Practicum Advisor
- Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling or another related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Successful completion of background and drug screenings
