Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant

AP Health is seeking a highly experienced Physician Assistant to join our team in the greater Arlington/Fort Worth area. A successful candidate would have at least 2+ years of experience in orthopedic surgery. This job is strictly a surgical only position with no clinic time. • Functions as a Surgical First Assistant in the Operating Room
• Positions and drapes the patient under the direction of the surgeon
• Suturing and retracting of all tissue layers
• Assists in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing technical duties as assigned
• Rotating on-call responsibilities

• 2+ years experience functioning as a surgical first assist in orthopedic surgery
• Current Texas State License
• Board certified by NCCPA
• Active BLS and ACLS
