Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to support sterile surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment. The role requires ensuring surgical instruments and sterile supplies are prepared and maintained for operating room procedures to support patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize surgical instruments and supplies prior to procedures.
- Maintain strict sterile technique throughout surgeries to prevent infection.
- Assist during surgeries by passing instruments and assisting surgical staff as needed.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of sharps and biological specimens.
- Document surgical activities and equipment used during procedures.
- Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active certification as a Surgical Technologist.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
- Possess knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical procedures.
- Be proficient in handling surgical instruments and sterilization processes.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Maintain current BLS certification and adhere to industry standards.
