Deliver physical therapy treatments and provide exercise instruction and patient education to improve patient's well-being under the supervising PT's plan of care;
Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, functional tasks, transfers, ADLs, and prosthetic training;
Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition to supervising PT, nurse supervisor, or physician;
Coordinate care with other healthcare team members as appropriate;
Educate patient, family, caregiver, and health-care team on therapy within the PTA scope of practice
