The Doctor of Pharmacy program, established in 2011, is part of the UNT System College of Pharmacy and Health Professions at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth (UNT Health). UNT Health comprises four colleges: the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, the College of Pharmacy and Health Professions, the College of Biomedical and Translational Sciences, and the College of Nursing.

Located in Fort Worth's vibrant Cultural District, UNT Health is one of the fastest-growing academic health science centers in Texas. The Department of Pharmacotherapy at the UNT System College of Pharmacy and Health Professions invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (rank commensurate with qualifications and experience).
The successful candidate will serve as a faculty member who advances the mission of the College through excellence in teaching, scholarship, clinical service, and professional engagement. The faculty member will possess expertise and/or relevant experience in the practical application of artificial intelligence (AI), digital health, and other emerging healthcare technologies in contemporary pharmacy practice and healthcare delivery.
The successful candidate will integrate these areas of expertise into teaching, scholarship, and professional activities while preparing future pharmacists to effectively, critically, and responsibly utilize technology-enabled solutions in patient care and healthcare delivery. The faculty member will also contribute to the continued evolution of the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) curriculum by incorporating concepts related to AI and emerging healthcare technologies that support contemporary and future pharmacy practices.
