As a Peer Facilitator, you will coordinate and facilitate

Celebrating

Families ingroups with families enrolled in the Tarrant Family Recovery Court program. Celebrating Families is an evidence-based, trauma-informed, skill building program for families with children ages birth
-18 years old and their caregivers dealing with, or at high risk for, multiple problems: substance use disorders (SUD); multi-generational trauma; physical and mental health challenges; cognitive deficits due to trauma, genetics, or in-utero exposure; and safety (child abuse/neglect and family violence). Trainingonspecific groups offered will be provided. As a Peer Facilitator,you will be a member of the Family Recovery Court team that iscomprisedof other community partners.

Defined Education

Health and Human Service field

Substitutions:High school diploma/GED with two (2) years of direct service experience in a Health and Human services field OR two (2) years leadership as a parent in assigned geographic area

License/

Certifications:

Valid Texas Driver’s License
