Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-hour day with required availability from 9:30 AM–4:30 PM
Friday: Typically off around 3:00 PM
Job OverviewWe are seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to lead and expand community health and nutrition programming throughout the Fort Worth service area. This role combines program management, nutrition education, community partnerships, and team leadership, with a strong focus on improving access to nutritious food and supporting positive health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead nutrition education and food-based community health programs, ensuring deliverables, timelines, and outcomes are met.
- Manage multiple programs and projects from planning through implementation and completion.
- Track program performance, analyze data, and prepare reports for leadership, partners, and funders.
- Build and maintain relationships with partner agencies, healthcare organizations, and community stakeholders.
- Support nutrition-focused initiatives, including education, food access, and evidence-based behavior change strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Agency Services, Community Resources, and other internal departments to ensure successful program delivery.
- Communicate regularly with Program Directors regarding program progress, challenges, and outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor 1–2 interns
, providing direction, coaching, and performance feedback. - Support grant deliverables, timelines, accountability, and budget-related considerations.
- Represent the organization within community health and nutrition networks.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and community impact.
- Professional experience working as a Registered Dietitian.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple programs, priorities, and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- 3+ years of experience in community health, nutrition programming, or related settings.
- Experience leading or supervising individuals.
- Experience managing programs, projects, grants, or community initiatives.
