Your Responsibilities Caregivers will provide support according to the client’s individualized Plan of Care. Duties may include:
Providing companionship and engaging conversation
Assisting with activities of daily living as needed
Providing medication reminders
Preparing meals and supporting nutritional needs
Completing light housekeeping and laundry
Keeping the client’s environment clean, organized, and safe Providing transportation when required
Observing and reporting changes in the client’s condition
Completing care logs and other required documentation accurately
Following client preferences and established care procedures
Client-Specific Expectations Because consistency and attention to detail are important for this assignment, caregivers must:
Arrive on time and be dependable for every scheduled shift
Wear scrubs or appropriate professional attire while working
Avoid perfume or heavily scented products
Keep personal phone use to a minimum while on duty Remain focused on the client and their care needs
Complete all required logs and documentation accurately
Communicate promptly with the office regarding scheduling concerns, supplies, or other client-related needs
Be receptive to coaching and constructive feedback
What We're Looking For The ideal caregiver is:
Dependable and punctual
Detail-oriented and organized
Professional in appearance and communication
Compassionate, patient, and respectful
Comfortable receiving direction and feedback
Able to consistently follow a client’s Plan of Care Committed to maintaining client dignity, safety, and privacy
Qualifications
At least 1 year of caregiving experience in an agency, facility, or private-care setting
Valid driver’s license
Reliable vehicle and current auto insurance
Ability to safely lift at least 25 pounds
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to follow written and verbal care instructions
Comfortable using phone, text, or email for scheduling and updates
Senior care, personal care, or dementia experience is a plus Willingness to complete required company training
