As a Visiting Angels Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:
- Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
- Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
- Planning and preparing meals with clients
- Handling light housekeeping duties
- Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
- Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
- Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
- Accompanying and supervising clients during shopping trips
- Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
- Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

Job Summary:
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Planning and preparing meals
- Light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Transportation to doctor appointments and running errands
- Additionally, our agency specializes in dementia and Alzheimer's care with a program called Alz Better® and provides specialized dementia care training using Teepa Snow's Positive Approach to Care®
Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- 1 year of caregiving experience with an agency or facility or a CNA license
- Dementia or Alzheimer's experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle for work purposes with proof of insurance
