Assists with vaccine handling and storage as well as training and audits for the office staff for Vaccine for Children providers. Reviews monthly reports on vaccine inventories and provides basic customer service.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Assists with training and audits of Vaccine for Children (VFC) providers following the VFC Policy and Procedure manual.
- Helps train provider office staff and public health immunization staff on vaccine storage, handling, temperature monitoring, and loss reporting.
- Reviews provider monthly reports and provides technical assistance as needed.
- Receives, issues, and returns vaccines.
- Issues immunization records.
- Provides customer service by phone.
- Performs all other duties as required.
- High School Diploma.
- Two (2) years work experience with one (1) year in public health, healthcare, or related field.
- Public speaking experience is preferred since small group trainings will be done in the provider offices.
- Driver's License required. Reading, basic math, organizational skills, data entry, and customer service skills
While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift, push and pull.
