Dietary Aide
Join our team at Avir at Angle in Fort Worth, TX, as a Dietary Aide! As a vital member of our food services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional nutrition and meal services.
About the Role:As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals, snacks, and beverages to our residents. You will work closely with our dietary team to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation. Your attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving areas
- Assist with food preparation, including food labeling, portioning, and plating
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of meal trays to residents' rooms
- Monitor and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of food and supplies
- Collaborate with the dietary team to develop and implement menus and meal plans
- Participate in quality control measures to ensure resident satisfaction and regulatory compliance
- Dietary Aide certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- 1-3 years of experience in food services or a related field
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
