About the Position
Urgent Care NP or PA

Location:

TX

Schedule:

Weekdays 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM;
Weekends 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM; 6-10 shifts per month (weekends prioritized)

Position Overview

Provide urgent care services for pediatric and family medicine patients in an urgent care setting.

Clinical Scope Highlights

Typical presentations include cough, congestion, incision and drainage, and other common urgent care needs

Patient volume: approximately 4 patients per hour

Patient ages: up to 21

Experity

Required Qualifications

Active TX license

Board certified

PALS

Minimum experience:

2 years (pediatric experience preferred)

Credentialing / Onboarding

Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days (may be quicker with Texas Medicaid)

Texas Medicaid listed as helpful for faster credentialing
