Caregiver, No CNA : Weekday and Weekend Overnight Shifts

Serenity View is a 16-resident boutique assisted living and memory care community in Fort Worth, Texas. Physician-founded, physician-led, and intentionally small. We did not choose 16 residents because it was the easiest number to operate. We chose it because it is the number at which exceptional care is actually possible.

No CNA required to apply. We are hiring caregivers without an active CNA certification, and we pay for your CNA training after you join us. Obtaining your CNA within your first 90 days of employment is a condition of continued employment in this role. In exchange for covering the cost of your training, we ask for a commitment to work with Serenity View for one year following certification.

Once certified, you move into our Resident Care Associate (RCA) role. Until then, you will work alongside our RCAs, learning the standards and routines that define care at Serenity View.

We are looking for caregivers who engage: who join residents in daily activities, help lead them, and bring energy to the day, not just supervise from the sideline.

• Provide ADL support: bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, toileting
• Follow individualized care plans with precision and genuine attention
• Actively participate in and help lead daily programming, activities, and engagement with residents
• Observe and document changes in resident condition accurately and factually
• Communicate proactively with the clinical team and leadership
• Maintain the environment to Serenity View's standards at all times
• Follow Policies and Procedures

NOTE:

At this time, we are specifically recruiting for weekday overnight (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM), weekend overnight (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, 12 hour shift), and evening (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM) positions.

• 16 residents, by design. You will know every resident personally.
• Physician-led care. Dr. Tas Akram is present, clinically active, and deeply involved in care delivery.
• Memory care grounded in functional medicine: nutrition, environment, sleep, and activity are clinical interventions.
• Scratch-cooked meals. Non-toxic environment. Secured outdoor garden. Structured programming.

• We have a strict No Phone On The Floor Policy which we enforce.
• Serenity View is also a 100% smoke-free and tobacco-free campus: indoors, outdoors, and in the parking areas. This applies to all staff, including kitchen staff, for the full duration of every shift, with no exceptions.

• Starting pay: $16.50/hr
• $17.00/hr at 30 days
• $17.50/hr at 60 days
• $18.00/hr at 90 days
• Once you complete your CNA certification, you move onto our Resident Care Associate (RCA) pay schedule at the step matching your tenure
• Annual merit-based review

Dr. Akram built this community because she believes there is a better way to care for people in the in-between, where quality of life is still very real and what a person eats, how they sleep, and who cares for them still shapes their outcomes. She is present. She is specific. She will give you direct, detailed feedback. She will also know your name, know your residents, and invest in your development.

This is not a community where caregivers are invisible.

• Willingness to learn, grow, and commit fully to resident well-being; caregiving experience is a plus but not required
• Alzheimer's and dementia care experience a plus
• Reliable personal transportation, location south/southwest of Benbrook, TX
• Available for one of our open shifts: weekday overnight (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM), weekend overnight (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM), or evening (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM)
• Ability to pass background check and meet all Texas HHSC requirements
• Willingness to commit to one year of employment with Serenity View following CNA certification
