Day Habilitation Specialist

For over 50 years, MHMR has provided community-based services for youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), mental health conditions, and substance use disorders, as well as babies and young children with developmental delays. As a Day Habilitation Specialist, you'll support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in building daily living skills, increasing independence, and gaining confidence through structured, personalized support.

In this role, you'll work closely with each person's goals- leading skill-building activities, encouraging community involvement, and helping create a safe positive environment where progress is real and measurable. High School diploma or GED

Bilingual.

Six (6) months of health and human services direct care experience

Health and Human Services field

Valid Texas Driver’s license
