For over 50 years, MHMR has provided community-based services for youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), mental health conditions, and substance use disorders, as well as babies and young children with developmental delays. The Registered Nurse Crisis plans, directs,coordinatesandparticipatesin the provision of health care services for individuals in Behavioral Health sites and in the community. This is done throughuseof the nursing process in nursing assessments, planning, implementation/intervention, education,evaluationand consultation. The RN is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Required

Education:

RN Program Graduation-Associates Degree or Bachelor Degree in Nursing

Preferences:

Bilingual;
Minimum one (1) year of experience in Behavioral Health: psychiatric/mental health nursing or substance use disorder nursing

License/

Certifications:

Valid Texas Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record,Current RN licensure,CPR Certification
