$22.50/hour | Part-Time | Onsite
Position SummaryThe Patient Services Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in ensuring smooth, welcoming, and efficient patient experience. This position is responsible for front desk operations, patient check in/out, payment collection, and administrative support to the clinic team.
This position is ideal for a healthcare professional who enjoys variety, accountability, and making a direct impact in a patient-centered setting.
Schedule- Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (2–3 Saturdays per month)
- Up to 30 hours a week
- Employees are expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to shift start.
- Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
- Explain insurance benefits, coverage, and out-of-pocket costs clearly and compassionately
- Collect and process patient payments accurately
- Answer phones, manage messages, and respond to patient communications
- Enter and maintain accurate patient and insurance information in the EHR
- Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming front desk and waiting area
- Support scheduling, administrative tasks, and clinic flow
- Complete daily cash reconciliation and bank deposits
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong patient service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable discussing insurance, billing, and payment options with patients
- Proficient with electronic health records and Microsoft Office
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced clinic

Physical Requirements
- Onsite clinical setting with direct patient interaction
- Ability to stand, sit, and move throughout the clinic day
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform fine motor tasks
