Salary is based on many factors, including but not limited to education, experience and location. Clinicians are in complete control of their earning potential. Compensation is directly tied to effort; the more efficient you are the higher the earning potential.

Job Summary:

A Physical Therapist Assistant who provides coordinated physical therapy to patients of all age groups under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.

Essential Functions:

Performs services planned, delegated and supervised by the PTUses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills to participate in teaching the patient and family

Completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner

Applies concepts of infection control and standard precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease

Accepts clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients

Meets mandatory continuing education requirements; participates in in service programs

Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency

Proficient and comfortable using technology to communicate and perform essential job functions.

Job Qualifications:

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Licensure:
Current Texas State License to practice physical therapy

Experience:

Prior experience as a PTA a plus but new grads welcome!
