Our client is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to oversee clinical services and patient care within their facility in East London . This role involves ensuring the safe, effective, and appropriate use of medications by collaborating closely with healthcare professionals and providing patient counseling. You will contribute to the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy services, aimed at improving patient outcomes and optimizing therapeutic regimens.

- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and professional standards.
- Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management, patient counseling, and pharmacokinetic dosing recommendations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient drug therapy and ensure seamless care transitions.
- Monitor patient responses to drug therapy, identifying and resolving potential drug-related problems.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and provide drug information services to healthcare staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree or equivalent.
- Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing pharmacist, preferably with some clinical experience.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, pharmacology, and drug interactions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage workload efficiently in East London .
