Position Summary:Octapharma USA is searching for a Medical Science Liaison, Immunology – South Central to join our team. The Medical Science Liaison will have accountability and responsibility in the management of field-based medical activity within the Octapharma Immunology portfolio. The position will provide medical/scientific expertise in the provision of educational programs and responding to medical information requests, as well as support to global and commercial functions within the organization via effective scientific exchange.
The position will also be responsible for establishing and fostering professional relationships with key opinion leaders and ensuring access to current medical and scientific information on company products and therapeutic areas of interest.
The territory for this position includes Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Must be located in Dallas or Fort Worth, Texas
Advanced pharmacy or nursing degree
3+ years of related industry or clinical experience in area of focus
Strong understanding of industry compliance guidelines
Understanding of drug surveillance, product promotion, and the legal aspects of product information
Ability to travel for field-based activities and attendance at clinical meetings and symposia (40% - 60% travel is expected)
