About the Role
Andretti Arcade Attendant is a part‑time position responsible for anticipating guest needs, exceeding service expectations, and creating a fun and exciting atmosphere while upholding Andretti's high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome visitors and greet them friendly and in a positive manner.
- Respond quickly and professionally to guest requests, showing a sense of urgency.
- Assist with guest recovery, notifying management when needed to ensure positive experiences.
- Project and articulate racing requirements and safety guidelines to guests.
- Conduct redemption inventory and maintain fully stocked displays.
- Perform minor repairs on games and explain operation to guests.
- Notify Game Technicians of machine errors and return play credit to guests.
- Observe safety procedures, instruct guests, and monitor adherence to guidelines.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Andretti brand, products, policies, and procedures.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and co‑workers.
- Work as a team player to meet guest needs and support other departments.
- Attend all required training, meetings, and departmental sessions.
- Perform opening, running, and closing duties for the department as assigned.
- Prior guest‑service or hospitality experience preferred.
Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of guest‑service experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurant, or entertainment settings.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, loud environment.
- Ability to use a point‑of‑sale system and other electronic equipment.
- Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, climb, bend, reach, turn, and occasionally stock up to 50 lbs; walk or stand for extended periods; work in extreme temperatures.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to operate all necessary equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety standards and emergency procedures.
