Omni Fort Worth Hotel offers a taste of Texas hospitality. Conveniently located in the heart of Fort Worth's downtown, adjacent to the Convention Center and within walking distance of cultural centers, restaurants and nightlife, the hotel is searching for dedicated hospitality professionals with a guest‑service mentality to join an extraordinary team!

Overview

The Banquet Bartender is responsible for delivering excellence in guest service by developing relationships with guests, providing personalized service, anticipating and delivering guests' needs, comprehending the cocktail/beverage menus, preparing drinks as requested, and serving drinks either directly or via service staff.

Responsibilities
  • Must have knowledge of a variety of alcoholic beverages and retain and maintain complete knowledge of all food and beverage menu items.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation awareness, hotel standards, and local laws.
  • Ensure high‑quality bar sets, service, food and beverage quality and presentation.
  • Check identification for proof of age when required.
  • Respond to guests' requests accurately and timely, creating a positive outcome that results in a memorable experience.
  • Ensure prompt delivery and quality control from point of departure to arrival.
  • Perform accurate POS procedures and cash/credit handling in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Attend all required department trainings and meetings.
Qualifications
  • Hands‑on food and beverage knowledge and a comprehensive, working knowledge of the hospitality business.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage garnishes and overall beverage service to include liquor, beer, and wine knowledge.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed during busy times and high‑profile events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Highly developed customer‑service skills; friendly, approachable demeanor and strong problem‑solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Serve Safe certified; unexpired TIPs required.
