HR Generalist - Safety Compliance & Pre

TRP Construction Group is seeking an HR Generalist to support safety compliance, pre‑employment screenings, and daily HR operations at our Haltom City corporate office. This role ensures all employees meet OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards before entering the field and provides support across HR functions including payroll and benefits administration.

• Manage pre‑employment screenings (background checks, drug tests, MVRs, physicals, fit‑for‑duty exams).
• Verify safety qualifications and maintain certification and training records.
• Support incident reporting, workers' compensation claims, and return‑to‑work coordination.
• Maintain HRIS data, employee files, and compliance documentation.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and employee support.
• Provide support with payroll processing and benefits administration as needed.
• Work onsite at the Haltom City corporate office Monday‑Friday.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 3-4 years of HR experience, ideally within a construction or other safety‑sensitive industry.
• Strong knowledge of safety compliance and pre‑employment processes.
• Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, and employment laws.
• Experience with payroll and benefits administration preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, and follow‑through.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• SHRM‑CP or SHRM‑SCP beneficial but not required.
