The Human Resources Manager plays a central role in supporting organization-wide HR initiatives and overseeing daily HR operations for a workforce of 600+ employees. Reporting to senior HR leadership, this position helps execute strategic priorities, strengthen employee engagement, and ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices.
Serving as a key partner to both employees and leaders, the HR Manager provides guidance across multiple HR functions, fosters an inclusive and supportive work environment, and oversees a team that may include HR generalists or administrative personnel. The role requires a balance of operational execution, people leadership, and sound judgment in navigating sensitive matters.
Primary Responsibilities Strategic HR Support- Collaborate with HR leadership to carry out initiatives that align with organizational goals and workforce needs.
- Offer recommendations to enhance processes, policies, and talent-related programs.
- Direct the day-to-day execution of HR services, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits coordination, and policy administration.
- Continuously evaluate workflow efficiency to improve HR service delivery and the overall employee experience.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to HR staff such as coordinators or generalists.
- Ensure employees receive consistent, high-quality assistance through all stages of the employee lifecycle.
- Assist in rolling out engagement initiatives, feedback tools, and performance management processes.
- Help address employee concerns, facilitate conflict resolution, and elevate sensitive matters when appropriate.
- Maintain adherence to employment laws, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support initiatives related to employee wellbeing, risk mitigation, and workplace programs in collaboration with internal partners.
- Interpret and compile HR metrics to guide decision-making and highlight workforce trends.
- Maintain accurate and organized HR documentation, files, and system records.
- Contribute to HR‑led projects, including training programs, communication rollouts, and system upgrades or implementations (e.g., HRIS, LMS).
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project alignment, timelines, and successful execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least one year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment regulations, and organizational compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to address employee issues, advise managers, and support cultural initiatives.
- Proficiency with HR technologies; experience with HRIS and learning systems is beneficial.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Experience in dynamic, fast‑paced, or complex organizational environments (e.g., private equity‑backed, matrix structures).
