Job Summary:
The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for preparing and executingpayroll by processing pay and deductions, issuing checks and maintaining records. This role is responsible for calculatingcorrect paychecks by determining overtime, deductions, and bonusescalculations.
Duties &Essential Job Functions:
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2 years of related payroll experience.
Education & Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
Licensure/Certification /Specialized Training:
- None

- Knowledge of basic accounting processes.
- Knowledge of basic research techniques.
- Knowledge of customer service techniques.
- Knowledge of international treaties and Glacier software.
- Skill in some or all components of Microsoft Office.
- Skill in keyboarding basic.
- Skill in Microsoft Windows navigations.
- Skill in effective written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to communicate and assist international employees.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, establish and meet deadlines, and to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
- Ability to learn independently and develop proficiency with new technology and applications.
- Ability to approach decision-making and problem solving creatively.

Physical Requirements (With or Without Accommodations):- Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, formsand other printed materials and information.
- Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and generalcommunication.
- Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responsesvia telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-faceinteractions.
- Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching,flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking,kneeling and prolonged sitting.
- Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 10 lbs.
- Work is indoors and sedentary and is subject to schedule changes and/or variable work hours.
- This role is an on campus, in-person position.

- The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate.
