AMiche Talent Connect has partnered with a highly respected custom home builder South of Fort Worth, Texas, to identify an experienced Human Resources Generalist for a key role within their organization.
This is a highly visible HR role with the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of the HR function and partner closely with employees and leadership.
You’ll manage the full employee lifecycle, including payroll, benefits, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR systems, while helping strengthen HR processes and the overall employee experience as the organization grows.
What You’ll Do- Serve as the primary HR resource and trusted partner for employees and leadership.
- Manage payroll administration, including employee changes, deductions, bonuses, reimbursements, and reporting.
- Oversee employee benefits, enrollments, life events, open enrollment, and vendor relationships.
- Lead onboarding and offboarding while creating an organized and welcoming employee experience.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on policies, performance, employee relations, and workplace matters.
- Maintain HR policies, employee records, required documentation, and employment compliance.
- Coordinate PTO, leave administration, workers’ compensation, unemployment matters, and other HR programs.
- Support compensation changes, promotions, performance reviews, and organizational updates.
- Partner with leadership on employee engagement, retention, recognition, and culture initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, improve systems, and introduce best practices as the company grows.
We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on HR professional who is proactive, approachable, organized, and comfortable taking ownership. The ideal candidate can confidently manage day-to-day HR needs while building strong relationships with employees and leadership and identifying opportunities to improve processes.
Qualifications- 5+ years of progressive, hands-on Human Resources experience.
- Strong payroll processing and administration experience.
- Direct experience administering employee health and benefit programs.
- Experience with onboarding, employee relations, HR policies, compliance, and employee records.
- Working knowledge of federal and Texas employment laws and HR requirements.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership from start to finish.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
- Experience with in a growing, privately held organization.
- Homebuilding, construction, or a related industry background is a plus.
- Experience implementing, administering, or optimizing HRIS, payroll, benefits, or onboarding systems.
