The HR Coordinator is responsible for delivering, content employees across the company through a variety of means to include compensation, benefits, orientation, training, communication, evaluations and various feedback channels. The HR Coordinator will take on special projects from time to time as directed by supervisor. The HR Coordinator will perform a variety of daily activities, assigning specific projects, developing objectives, providing feedback and maintaining accountability.
There will also be responsibilities to include tax filings, OSHA, reports, payroll, etc.
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, screening, interviewing, and offer letters
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely completion of new hire documentation
- Payroll & Benefits
- Process bi-weekly payroll using Paycom, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Administer employee benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and leave programs
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies
- HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate reports as needed
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Assist with employee relations, performance reviews, and disciplinary documentation
- Support training initiatives and employee engagement programs
- Coordinate safety and workers’ compensation reporting in collaboration with operations
2–4 years of experience in HR coordination or generalist role.
Required Skills- Minimum of 2yrs Human Resource experience in Logistics
- Experience in Paycom or similar HRIS/payroll systems
- Familiarity with employment law, payroll regulations, and HR best practices
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Manufacturing or industrial experience a plus
