* About this role:

** The HR Manager, Labor Relations leads the labor and employee-relations strategy for a Carrier manufacturing facility, protecting a positive, direct-relationship work environment. Working with limited supervision on complex matters, this role advises leaders on labor law, manages investigations and dispute resolution, and builds the frontline practices that sustain employee engagement and trust.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Leads the site labor and employee-relations strategy, promoting a positive, union-free work environment.
* Advises and coaches leaders on employee-relations matters, corrective action and consistent policy application.
* Conducts and documents workplace investigations, ensuring fair, timely and defensible outcomes.
* Manages dispute resolution, grievances, hearings and, where applicable, collective-bargaining support.
* Ensures compliance with US labor and employment law (NLRA, FLSA, Title VII/EEO, ADA, FMLA) and responds to agency charges.
* Monitors employee sentiment and organizational climate, translating insights into action plans.
* Develops and delivers leader training on labor relations, positive employee relations and legal compliance.
* Partners with Legal and site leadership on risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

* Required Qualifications:

*** Bachelor's degree
* 7+ years of HR experience with a focus on labor and employee relations in a manufacturing environment.
* 3+ years of experience working with US labor and employment law (NLRA, FLSA, Title VII/EEO, ADA, FMLA).
* 3+ years of experience conducting and documenting complex workplace investigations.
* 3+ years of experience advising and coaching leaders on corrective action, performance and dispute resolution.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor/Industrial Relations, Business, Psychology or related field.
* Demonstrated ability to support positive, union-free environments and/or manage union relationships.
* Strong conflict-management, influencing and communication skills with hourly and salaried populations.
* Experience with collective bargaining, contract administration or union-avoidance campaigns.
* SHRM-SCP, SPHR or labor-relations certification.
* Experience supporting large hourly work forces across multiple shifts.  
** Pay Range
** The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $ annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.
** Other Compensation
** This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
