American Track is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator onsite in Fort Worth, TX to support day-to-day HR operations, hiring and onboarding, and HR reporting.
Responsibilities- Support the day-to-day operations of HR functions and assigned HR duties.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee files, records, and HR documentation.
- Respond to applicants and employees with information on standard policies, benefits, and hiring processes; route complex questions to senior HR staff or management.
- Provide clerical support to personnel administrators and other HR staff and assist with special projects as needed.
- Help disseminate HR information to employees, including policy updates, announcements, and HR resources.
- Track and monitor open applications and communicate hire/rejection status with hiring managers.
- Assist with job postings, applicant tracking, and interview scheduling.
- Coordinate with external recruiters and employment agencies to support candidate sourcing and recruiting.
- Facilitate and monitor onboarding for all new hires and rehires to ensure completion of required new hire and rehire documents.
- Process and onboard new hires and rehires in the company’s HRIS.
- Conduct and/or assist with new hire orientation.
- Generate reports on HR metrics, trends, and key performance indicators.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect the integrity of human resources files and records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Education (preferred): Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years’ experience in an administrative role required.
- Experience (desired): Previous HR experience highly desired.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn payroll management, HRIS, and similar HR-related computer applications.
- Preferred: Paylocity and/or CmiC experience.
- Plus: Railroad or construction experience.
