IT Support Technician

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops, ensuring timely resolution.
• Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Install, configure, and maintain printers, network cameras, and other peripheral devices.
• Installs and supports software for users.
• Create and manage user accounts and permissions in the ERP system.
• Provide training to users on various hardware and software applications.
• Maintains software updates including operating systems, virus software, and other Microsoft products.
• Installs, maintains, and repairs telecommunications components to ensure the network is functioning at peak efficiency.
• Documents, tracks, and monitors problems to facilitate a timely resolution.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure their proper functioning.

• Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or in a similar role, with a focus on desktop support and network troubleshooting.
• Prior experience with ERP systems and data entry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Windows XP, Windows 10, and Windows 11.
• Familiarity with Lorex cameras and Unifi network equipment is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Experience with network cabling and the ability to terminate cables is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• or one to three months related experience and/or training;
• or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
