The SME Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing and improving end‑to‑end supply chain processes including material planning, procurement, issue processes, and returns. The role involves deep data analysis, dashboard/report development, cross‑functional collaboration, and implementation of data‑driven solutions to support operational efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Analysis & Process Optimization- Identify inefficiencies across material planning, supply, issue, and returns workflows.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis and recommend process improvements.
- Develop models to enhance operational efficiency within budget guidelines.
- Build dashboards, KPI reports, and interactive visuals using Power BI/Tableau.
- Create and maintain datasets, data pipelines, and analytical tables.
- Track and evaluate results of implemented solutions.
- Partner with Line & Base Planning, Network Planning, Materials Planning, AOG, and Stores teams.
- Analyze operational workflows and propose efficiency improvements.
- Present insights and recommendations to supervisors and senior leadership.
- Write complex SQL queries and handle large data sets.
- Work within Azure, Databricks, and Data Lake environments.
- Manage analytical tasks using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Support teammates with data extraction, reporting, and analysis.
- Develop clear presentations summarizing findings and solutions.
- Provide user training and ensure smooth adoption of delivered tools.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Operations Research, or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation tools.
- Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience in airline operations or supply chain analytics.
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of Azure, Databricks, Data Lake infrastructure.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Skilled in cross‑team collaboration.
