Overview
This position is to join the Classified Network Operations Team Supporting LM Aeronautics in Fort Worth, TX. This position will support classified network infrastructure covering maintenance, troubleshooting and daily operations supporting all lines of business at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, including ADP, IFG and the Joint Strike Fighter Program (JSF).
The candidate selected will need to be a self-starter, able to work in fast paced environment and display strong communication skills as well as administer and maintain network infrastructure across multiple platforms. They will support day to day maintenance of hardware appliances such as Cisco Switches, Palo Alto and Juniper Firewalls and type 1 encryption devices with a heavy focus on Collaboration components.
Candidate will support networking tools such as Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA Center and Cisco Call Manager. Also will be responsible for planned infrastructure upgrades, installation and cabling of network equipment.
This position is on-site in Fort Worth, TX with rotating on-call support and occasional travel.
Responsibilities- Share responsibility for maintenance, troubleshooting and daily operations of classified network infrastructure across multiple platforms.
- Administer and maintain network infrastructure including hardware appliances (Cisco switches, Palo Alto and Juniper firewalls) and type 1 encryption devices with emphasis on collaboration components.
- Support networking tools such as Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA Center and Cisco Call Manager.
- Plan infrastructure upgrades, installations and cabling of network equipment.
- Experience with configuration and management of Cisco switches and CUCM
- Experience with Cisco Call Manager and Jabber
- Experience with configuration and management of Juniper or Palo Alto Firewalls
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with TACLANEs (IE: KG175s/ KG250)
- Confident in OSI model, IP addressing and subnetting
- 5+ years’ experience supporting and resolving network related issues
- Ability to effectively communicate with other Classified Network Operations team members
- Current CompTIA Security+ (or other DoD 8570.01) Certification (or ability to obtain certification)
- Demonstrated ability to provide customer focused support building strong relationships with customers, key stakeholders, clearly communicating requirements
- Active Secret Clearance (with ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance)
- US Citizenship
- Candidate must be able to lift 30 pounds
- General knowledge of DISA STIGs and hardening methods
- Experience with support multi-site architecture
- Palo Alto PNCSA or Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS Certification
- Familiar with Software Defined networking (Cisco ACI, Cisco DNA Center, etc)
- Experience with configuring and troubleshooting LAN and WAN connections
- Ability to create and update network diagrams using Microsoft Visio
- This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
