Systems Engineer, IT Support
Overview
Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Network Engineer to join a client in Fort Worth. This is a full-time, direct hire position. The role is 100% onsite. This role will focus primarily on network configuration and troubleshooting, with additional responsibilities in warehouse efficiency, team leadership, and project support.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain unified communications and collaboration systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot networking devices, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Create and present detailed infrastructure designs, including test plans, resource estimates, and schedules.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network architecture and configuration.
- Perform regular system audits to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
- Support other IT-related initiatives as assigned.
- Analyze warehouse operations to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Implement initiatives to improve merchandise flow and delivery performance.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for operational enhancements.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment aligned with company values.
- Support a culture of safety, well-being, and two-way communication across teams.
- Strengthen relationships with internal departments, vendors, and external partners.
- Ensure efficient inventory management and warehouse operations through effective communication and planning.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in network administration.
- Proficient in configuring, installing, and troubleshooting networking hardware and firewalls.
- Strong working knowledge of:
Windows Server Administration
Active Directory
DNS and DHCP - Experience with Linux environments is a plus.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
