As part of the Enterprise Business Digital Transformation organization, aligned to the Aeronautics Business Area, our team stands at the forefront of revolutionizing the defense industry, spearheading a Dev Ops transformation, and pioneering a groundbreaking approach to Next Generation Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
This is an onsite role supporting the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Division, and can be located at our Marietta, GA, Fort Worth, TX or Palmdale, CA facilities.
The selected candidate will join the Classified Applications team as a Software Engineer in support of Aeronautics Advanced Development (ADP) Programs. This position will be responsible for development, maintenance and operation of software applications in support of the ADP Skunk works organization.
Candidate should be able to easily reach out to architects, performance engineers, developers and DBA's to collaborate for success. Candidate should feel comfortable engaging with most levels in the organization, including internal customer-facing discussions on requirements, demonstrations, etc.
Basic Qualifications- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- DoD 8140/8570 Certification Level II (Security + CE, CySA+, CISSP)
- Knowledge of Agile Dev Sec Ops principles and methodologies
- Experience with application deployment and troubleshooting
- Experience with virtualization (Hyper‑V/VMware), containerization, and cloud‑based platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and IT service management tools, Confluence, Jira, Service Now
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, and scripting languages like Bash, Perl, and Power Shell
- Must be available to support weekend and after‑hours application deployments
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, including 3DX (ENOVIA, CATIA, DELMIA) and other PLM tools such as Teamcenter and Xelearator
- Dev Sec Ops expertise with hands‑on experience in CI/CD pipeline development, infrastructure as code (Ansible, Kubernetes, Terraform), and GIT version control
- Certifications:
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate
- Microsoft Azure Administrator
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay RateThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $93,200 - $164,450. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.…
