  • Serve as an escalation point for complex telecom network issues from Support and Technical Services teams; diagnose failures, identify faulty components, and implement effective resolutions.
  • Continuously monitor network system performance, analyze trends, and proactively address performance bottlenecks; drive automation initiatives to streamline manual network management tasks and enhance operational efficiency; maintain comprehensive telecom network documentation.
  • Conduct network capacity planning by tracking key performance metrics, analyzing usage trends, and implementing measures to prevent degradation due to capacity constraints.
  • Mentor and train team members through formal training programs and hands‑on guidance; evaluate and recommend external training vendors to enhance team competencies; ensure full compliance with IT and Information Security policies, aligning network operations with organizational security frameworks and best practices.
  • Contribute to special projects, taking on additional responsibilities as required to support evolving business and technology needs; plan, design, and deploy data and voice network infrastructure, determining optimal physical and logical configurations to support organizational communication requirements.
  • Install, configure, and maintain ICT data and voice networks, ensuring high availability, security, and performance while balancing budgetary and operational constraints; develop detailed network diagrams to illustrate physical and logical layouts, ensuring clarity in device placements, connections, and traffic flow.
  • Define and document network architecture, specifying key protocols (e.g., IP, TCP, POP3) and essential services (e.g., email, file transfer, web browsing) for seamless communication across segments.
  • Leverage automation tools and scripting to simplify routine network management tasks, improve system efficiency, and address complex configuration challenges.
  • Proactively manage and resolve network‑related incidents, minimizing service disruptions and maintaining high system availability.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement security measures that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Qualifications
    • Minimum of five years related work experience; network administration, including advanced troubleshooting, network design, and implementation.

    • Expertise in routing, switching, network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS), cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud); troubleshooting, PCAP analysis, routing, switching, load balancing, and network security.
    • Routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and switching protocols (STP, VLANs, trunking).
    • Proficiency in network monitoring tools (Solar Winds, Wireshark), automation/scripting (Python, Power Shell), and ITSM tools (Service Now, Jira).
    • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to manage and resolve complex network issues and escalations, and to monitor operations.
    Preferred Qualifications
