Job SummaryAs our organization continues to grow and evolve, it is imperative that our Identity and Access Management (IAM) environment keeps pace with these changes. The current IAM strategy has served us well, but it is now time to take it to the next level to ensure that we remain secure, efficient, and adaptable to future needs. The Custom Dev Ops Manager will lead the transformation of the IAM space into a Dev Ops operation, focusing on enhanced security, scalability, user experience, compliance, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Dev Ops Strategy and Implementation:
Develop and implement Dev Ops strategies in alignment with business objectives, oversee the integration of Dev Ops methodologies across various projects and teams. - Azure Dev Ops Management:
Manage, configure, and optimize Azure Dev Ops pipelines, repositories, and services, ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery pipelines for software projects. - Custom Programming:
Build, maintain, and enhance tools and scripts that support Dev Ops processes, implementing automation and orchestration solutions tailored to project needs. - Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery, facilitating communication and collaboration between departments. - Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize infrastructure for reliability, availability, and scalability. - Security and Compliance:
Ensure that all Dev Ops practices and solutions adhere to security and compliance standards, implementing security best practices within the Dev Ops lifecycle. - Team Leadership:
Mentor and guide junior Dev Ops engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Dev Ops role.
- Extensive experience with Azure Dev Ops, including pipeline creation, repository management, and service configuration.
- Proficiency in custom programming languages such as Python, Power Shell, or similar; ability to develop and maintain automation scripts and tools.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.
- In‑depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, particularly Microsoft Azure; familiarity with other cloud platforms is a plus.
- Experience with automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
- Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools.
- Understanding of security best practices in the context of Dev Ops and cloud computing.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Advanced certifications in Azure or Dev Ops practices.
