Cyber Security Technical Lead

Position Summary and Responsibilities:

The Cyber Security Technical Lead is a senior, hands-on security professional responsible for advanced security operations, technical leadership, and engineering execution across the Microsoft security stack and supporting technologies.

* Security Operations & Incident Response-Lead high-severity incident response; perform deep investigations; coordinate multi-team response; drive root cause analysis and remediation.

* Security Tools Responsibilities-Design, engineer, and optimize Microsoft security platform, WAF, DLP, endpoint, and identity systems.

* Platform Engineering & Architecture Execution-Translate architecture into deployable controls; implement baselines; lead automation and enforcement mechanisms.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship-Act as escalation point and mentor SE1 and SE2 engineers; establish standards and runbooks.
AI & Emerging Technology Security-Implement monitoring and controls for AI and LLM-related risks including prompt injection and data leakage.

Prioritize multiple, competing priorities
Ensure company equipment is in safe, working condition; reports any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor
Operate all company equipment safely and in a manner consistent with company policy
Perform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Microsoft security stack experience; ability to lead technical initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or Computer Science
5-8 years of IT/Cybersecurity experience
Experience leading security teams or security programs
CISSP and/or CISM certification a plus

Experience with cloud security (Azure or AWS)
Experience implementing NIST, ISO 27001, or Zero Trust frameworks
Strong incident response and security expertise;
Proven leadership and project management experience
