Pride Health is hiring a Senior Cybersecurity Network Engineer for one of its healthcare clients in Fort Worth, TX.

This is a 29-week contract opportunity with the possibility of extension, competitive pay, and Benefits.

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Job Type: Contract (29 Weeks)

Shift: Day Shift

Pay Rate: $75 - $78 per hour (W2)

Job Summary

The Senior Cybersecurity Network Engineer is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and securing the enterprise network infrastructure. This role provides advanced technical expertise across multiple IT disciplines, including network engineering, cybersecurity, systems architecture, capacity planning, performance management, and configuration management. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting complex LAN/WAN environments, firewalls, VPN technologies, network security, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, test, maintain, and support LAN/WAN equipment and related network services.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex network and connectivity issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs.
  • Monitor network performance and implement proactive solutions to ensure network availability.
  • Perform advanced network troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Support network security initiatives, firewall administration, and VPN configurations.
  • Create and maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
  • Perform software upgrades, operating system patching, and hardware configuration updates.
  • Lead technical design discussions and provide recommendations for infrastructure improvements.
  • Analyze vendor solutions and assist with budgetary planning and technical proposals.
  • Support technology refresh initiatives and enterprise infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement scalable network solutions.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation to support critical business operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical consultation to stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of direct Network Engineering and/or Cybersecurity experience.
  • Strong experience supporting enterprise LAN/WAN environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and VLAN implementation.
  • Experience with network performance monitoring and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of network security best practices and infrastructure management.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Additional Requirements
  • Experience with network documentation, diagramming, and configuration management.
  • Ability to evaluate technical solutions and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Experience supporting enterprise‑level infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Relevant IT certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Security+, CISSP, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Must be willing to participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation as needed.
