Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be expected to perform and manage activities related to the company's Data Center, while assuming ultimate responsibility for the accurate and timely completion of all work assignments. The primary focus of the position is on the management and deployment of IT equipment within the Corporate Data Center, IT Asset Management, Data Center Infrastructure Management tool, and overseeing all 3rd party vendors.
He/she will also be responsible for building and delivering key reports, while providing technical guidance to other IT Teams on core Data Center processes and procedures.
NOTE:
This hybrid role is located in FT WORTH, TX ~ relocation will not be offered; sponsorship is not available including if you are currently on OPT.
- Manage and deploy IT equipment within the Corporate Data Center.
- Oversee IT Asset Management and Data Center Infrastructure Management tool.
- Coordinate all 3rd party vendors.
- Build and deliver key reports.
- Provide technical guidance to other IT Teams on core Data Center processes and procedures.
- Communicate with clients over-the-phone or face-to-face to assist them in setting up systems or resolving issues.
- Troubleshoot network and system problems to provide solutions to hardware/software defects.
- Follow instructions contained in equipment manual when setting up a system or conducting repairs.
- Work in a team‑oriented environment with minimal direct supervision.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently and under pressure.
- Plan and monitor tasks, including the development of standard operating procedures.
- Lift approximately 50 pounds for moving equipment.
- Bachelor degree and 2 years in Information Technology OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 4 year Information Technology experience OR 6 years Information Technology experience.
- Experience in enterprise‑scale or colocation Data Center environment.
- Knowledge of Data Center architecture.
- Understanding of electrical power and electrical power distribution systems as it relates to Data Center deployments and systems.
- Excellent communication skills, customer service, verbal, and written skills with good grammar and the ability to take accurate notes.
- Knowledge of all Infrastructure technologies, including monitoring and event management technologies.
- Knowledge of Server, Storage, Networking technologies.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a team environment and across organizational boundaries.
- Excellent task planning and monitoring skills.
Pay Transparency Statement:
Base Pay Range $61,500.00 - $ Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
