Sr Risk Analyst

About The Role

Our team is looking for someone with the passion and skills to support the evolution of our corporate Information Security GRC team. Focus on defining processes and implementing technology to support a comprehensive enterprise security program, including governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). This role will ensure we are designing and evolving technologies with employee needs in mind, supporting long‑range strategy, cross‑functional projects, and initiatives across Crunchyroll globally.

The role requires strong partnership across Crunchyroll’s teams, including Legal, Engineering, IT, People, Workplace Experience, Trust & Safety, and third‑party contractors and suppliers.

• 8+ years supporting GRC programs in Information Security or Information Technology
• Experience leading PCI, SOX, and audit (internal and external) assessments
• Experience supporting council and oversight committees
• Experience with cloud‑based platforms such as GCP and AWS
• Experience with IAM best practices and administration
• Strong understanding of security best practices and frameworks such as PCI, NIST, and ISO
• Experience with control testing and evidence validation
• Experience performing risk assessments
• Experience with vendor assessments and management
• Experience working with and optimizing GRC tools
• Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly and apply that knowledge effectively
• Working knowledge of AI technologies
• Ability to navigate complex organizations
• Data‑driven and attentive to detail
• Ability to communicate complex issues to a broad audience, from technical staff to management
• Demonstrated experience maintaining effective working relationships across all levels of an organization and with external constituents
• Positive collaborative attitude

• Security certifications
• Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA
• Experience with cloud environments such as GCP or AWS
• BS in Computer Science or related degree or equivalent experience

• Work with a focus to level‑up Information Security GRC at Crunchyroll
• Partner with teams across the company to implement and govern security standards to optimize compliance adherence
• Support and improve processes related to the Vulnerability Management Program
• Investigate and assess control effectiveness and maturation
• Monitor and facilitate governance activities
• Support the GRC and Privacy Programs as needed
• Stay up to date on regulatory trends
• Support the team and improve internal processes
• Create reports and documentation to support the Information Security GRC program
