The Procurement Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Enhanced Bill Review Programs by securing essential medical documentation, including itemizations and medical records needed to process claims accurately and efficiently. This position involves proactive outreach to providers, managing inbound inquiries, and ensuring all documentation meets quality and compliance standards, including HIPAA regulations. The Procurement Analyst is detail‑oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment where meeting production goals and collaborating with team members are key to success.
This is an onsite position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES- Spend approximately 80-85% of the shift making outbound calls to providers to obtain required information; may also send email or fax requests
- Respond to inbound calls regarding claim status and related inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of all communications between the company, providers, and referring clients
- Verify that all documentation received is complete and accurate in accordance with established Quality Assurance protocols
- Escalate issues or concerns to the appropriate Lead, Supervisor, or Manager as needed
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all communications and documentation
- Consistently meet production standards and quality benchmarks
- Collaborate with team members and management to achieve departmental goals; proactively identify and report potential issues
- Assist with training and onboarding of new employees as required
- Additional duties as assigned
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months to 1 year of office experience
- Outbound call center experience preferred
- Data Entry experience preferred
Cor Vel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job‑related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.
For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
In general, our opportunities will be posted for up to 1 year from date of posting, or until we have selected candidate(s) to fulfill the opening, whichever comes first.
