Overview
This position is with the Test Data Processing System’s home group in Fort Worth, TX. The team uses a wide application of modern technical principles, theories, and concepts in the software and system hardware fields to develop, integrate, test, and maintain Flight Test Data Processing Tools and Systems.
Responsibilities- Provide system administration support for Lockheed Martin's F-35 data processing tools and systems.
- Serve as the engineer representing the organization in all customer support activities, funneling new requirements and issue tracking to the development team.
- Provide training sessions (formal and informal) to the customer.
- Create recommendation reports for the customer and transition to the System Administration and IT System Build expert.
- Collaborate with a high-performing multi-site, multi-program team and demonstrate effective communication for frequent inter-organizational and outside customer interactions.
- Travel as required for team interaction, integration, and test activities.
- Must be able to manage user account setup and Active Directory management on Windows systems.
- Experience with system administration.
- Customer-focused with field service experience.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering or a Technical Discipline.
- Ability to obtain proper security clearance and appropriate PID access.
- Write customized procedures and user guidance to support specific IT tasks.
- Security+ certification and CEUs is a plus.
- Experience with sustaining systems, software, or database support.
- Experience with RMF/JSIG compliance.
- Manage and maintain Windows servers, and be familiar with Linux and Sun Solaris servers.
- Perform operating system maintenance and updates for Windows.
- Maintain third‑party software maintenance and updates on Windows.
- Install, manage, and update Lockheed Martin's CDP software.
- Manage system and data backup and recovery on Windows.
- Unix experience is a plus.
- Support the objectives of the Test Data Processing team and the Data Laboratory Objectives with a team mentality and proactive attitude.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- This position requires a government security clearance (Secret).
- Must be able to travel on occasion.
- Demonstrated customer relationship management experience is a plus.
- Experience with data management tools, methodologies, database support and IT systems is required.
- Supporting network configurations, security requirements, user profile management and system administration is expected.
- Solaris/Unix experience is a plus.
