Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Fort Worth, TX that is seeking a UX Research & Designer who will partner with stakeholders and agile teams to influence and enhance the overall user experience.
- Facilitate and support workshops and collaborative sessions across teams
- Advocate for and promote the value of user research and design throughout the software development lifecycle
- Communicate user needs and insights clearly across the organization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT, product, marketing, design, and research teams to ensure insights drive measurable business impact
- Contribute to end-to-end customer journey research and strategy
- Work closely with UX and data teams to identify, explore, and validate user needs and market opportunities
- Create and validate new concepts and designs through user feedback sessions, testing, and iterative learning
- Support and execute quantitative and qualitative research initiatives, including defining study objectives and methodologies, building project plans and timelines, designing and pre‑testing surveys, managing third‑party vendors or contractors, and conducting analysis and delivering actionable insights and reports
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Data Science, Interaction Design, Cognitive Science, Psychology, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience in a UX, user research, or product-focused role
- Experience managing qualitative and quantitative research projects, including multi‑phase initiatives
- Hands‑on experience with design tools (Figma preferred)
- Familiarity with experience metrics and KPIs such as (list of applicable metrics)
- Experience with research and survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, User Testing or similar tools)
- Ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations and tell a compelling story around user needs
- Strong empathy and commitment to user‑centered design and psychological safety
- Proven ability to communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Highly motivated problem‑solver who is comfortable with ambiguity and complexity
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, including product managers, designers, developers, marketers, and data professionals
- Maintains a user‑first mindset while balancing business priorities and stakeholder goals
- Demonstrates a collaborative, adaptable, and proactive approach to project delivery
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
