Our client seeks a Transformation Leader / Engagement Manager to serve as the on-the-ground executive presence, partnering with senior stakeholders while leading, aligning, and enabling a team of 25 coaches and practitioners across multiple business and technology work streams. The role requires strategic vision and operational execution to drive sustainable agile and business transformation in a complex enterprise environment.

Rate: $120.00 to $130.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities- Serve as the single accountable leader for our client’s outcomes and presence.
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with the client sponsor and senior stakeholders.
- Represent our client in executive briefings, steering committees, and program reviews.
- Manage stakeholder expectations while proactively surfacing risks and opportunities.
- Lead, coordinate, and develop a team of 25 embedded coaches across agile, technical, and business transformation.
- Establish a shared operating rhythm including standups, retrospectives, escalation paths, and knowledge sharing.
- Mentor coaches, remove impediments, and ensure consistent delivery quality.
- Partner with internal delivery leadership to secure resources and expertise.
- Navigate organizational, architectural, and financial planning constraints.
- Drive outcome-focused delivery with clear metrics tied to business results.
- Champion an empirical, iterative approach to change.
- Operate effectively within a large, matrixed, politically complex enterprise.
- Build coalitions across Operations, Product Management, and IT/Software Development.
- Translate resistance into engagement through demonstrated results and credibility.
- Anticipate political dynamics and position the team and work accordingly.
- Led a large-scale Agile or Business Transformation at a Fortune 500 or comparable enterprise.
- Managed or coordinated teams of 15+ practitioners in an embedded consulting or coaching model.
- Proven success navigating high-stakes, politically sensitive client environments.
- Experience as an Engagement Manager, Program Director, or Transformation Lead in consulting or professional services.
- Demonstrated ability to build executive-level trust and influence without direct authority.
- Experience working across operations, product management, and technology silos.
- Background spanning business transformation and technical or engineering transformation.
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks and modern engineering practices.
