DevOps Engineer

Job Title:

Senior Dev Ops Engineer (Hosted by Christian Aviles) Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 per year.

• Manage CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab, ensuring reliable, scalable, and efficient build and deployment processes.
• Administer and support applications and infrastructure with a focus on security, stability, and performance; monitor system health, availability, and security posture and ensure timely updates and maintenance.
• Automate operational tasks through scripting and tooling.
• Develop, deploy, and manage applications across cloud and on-premises environments; support containerized workloads and infrastructure automation initiatives; implement Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Implement and maintain application security testing processes, including static and dynamic security analysis; identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities; support compliance initiatives through reporting and documentation.
• Create and maintain reports related to test coverage, vulnerability assessments, software inventories, and system observability; provide visibility into system performance, deployment metrics, and operational health.
• Develop automation solutions to improve deployment efficiency, system reliability, and operational scalability.

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 7+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience building and maintaining Git Lab CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with systems administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Hands‑on experience with virtualization, containers, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with automated testing and software delivery best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.

• Experience with additional cloud platforms and services.
• Exposure to other CI/CD tools and deployment platforms.
• Understanding of security frameworks, compliance standards, and Dev Sec Ops  practices.
• Experience with configuration management and infrastructure automation tools.
