Key Responsibilities- Execute technical Information Assurance (IA) in accordance with customer security requirements and the Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG).
- Author, maintain, and update system security artifacts (ATO, SSP, POA&M, risk assessments, continuous monitoring plans).
- Validate that security controls are correctly implemented and remain effective throughout the system lifecycle.
- Perform continuous monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and incident investigations.
- Assist on technical solutions to complex problems requiring extensive technical expertise and ingenuity.
- Partner with ISSM and other ISSOs to meet program requirements and achieve security objectives.
- Assist in coordination with program security, cyber‑management, senior internal stakeholders (e.g., Program Managers), external customers (e.g., Government Security Control Assessors), and other relevant parties to clarify requirements and resolve issues while balancing customer needs against compliance mandates.
- Ensure selected security controls operate as intended in every phase of the information‑system lifecycle.
- Participate in the implementation of current and future security domains (e.g., Dev Sec Ops , AI, CDS, etc.).
- Provide cybersecurity education and training for all system users on appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Participate in customer meetings and exercises to satisfy contractual cyber requirements across multiple locations.
- Perform other associated duties as required.

Basic Qualifications- U.S. Citizenship.
- Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance with an investigation or Continuous Vetting (CV) date within 5 years.
- Prior experience supporting Special Access Programs (SAP) security environments.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Past ISSO experience.
- DoD ‑Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) Intermediate Certification (SEC+, CASP+ or qualifying degree).
- Experience assessing comprehensive cybersecurity programs (e.g., NIST RMF, JSIG).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to juggle the demands of multiple diverse customers while formulating and driving security direction.
- Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across all stakeholder groups.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities; organized, flexible, and self‑motivated.
- Ability to use audit tools to assess the program network.
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
Top Secret clearance level.

Work Schedule and LocationOn‑site full-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Schedule:
4×10 hour days, 3 days off per week. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules to provide additional flexibility and paid time off benefits.
