Sharepoint Developer

Overview

SharePoint Developer — 12+ Months Contract — Remote.

The IT Developer will support the creation of an Intranet HUB SharePoint Site and support the Digital Services SharePoint unit to design and develop a SharePoint portal unifying various existing SharePoint sites. This Developer will also develop other sites as requested, respond and resolve SharePoint related issues, assist with the development of a governance structure, develop best practices and create training materials.

They will conduct training for site owners and end users on site ownership and knowledge transfer activities to staff members.

• Support the creation and unification of SharePoint sites into an Intranet HUB.
• Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint portals and related sites.
• Respond to and resolve SharePoint-related issues.
• Assist in developing governance structures and best practices.
• Create training materials and conduct training for site owners and end users on site ownership and knowledge transfer.

• Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years as a SharePoint developer, architect, or site administrator.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, Power BI, Power Shell, Office 365, SharePoint, Power Automate.
• Extensive knowledge of SharePoint tools, workflows, Power Apps, and form development.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid SharePoint deployments.
• Experience as a Project Manager.
• Experience developing SharePoint site templates, lists, libraries, workflows, and various site collections.
• Experience in developing SharePoint training materials and conducting training for large audiences (site owners and users).

• Ability to manage multiple projects and site development simultaneously.
• Ability to define governance and security structures.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented, focused, self-motivated, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced agile environment.

The estimated pay range for this position is USD $65.00 - $73.00 per hour. It is an exempt role. Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
