2-4+ Years Experience supporting enterprise-level application software system(s) in the IBM iSeries environment.
Experience creating reports and data extracts using query tools (i.e. DB2 Query for iSeries) or SQL as supported by DB2 for IBM iSeries.
Perform or assist with the maintenance and administration of the IBM Power9 (including message handling, work management, job and print control, device management, system configuration, system security, data/file transfer, and systems integration)
Willing and able to be onsite 5 days during training period
Nice to have:
Familiarity with IVR and payment processing experience
Knowledge of Central Square (Superion/Sun Gard/HTE) Naviline software or similar application for Utility Billing.
Demonstrated knowledge of Utility Billing processes, work flows, and procedures.
Job Description
This large Utility Service Division is seeking to hire an IT Technical Support Analyst II -- Utility Billing in its IT Section. Working as part of a team, you will be expected to perform duties associated with the maintenance and support activities required by our Utility Billing applications and related systems. You will also provide support to end-users to resolve system issues.
- Ensure backup jobs are scheduled and completed successfully.
- Create and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Provide technical and application support and assistance for Utility Billing application users and related systems .
- Perform or assist with the maintenance and administration of the IBM Power9 (multiple partitions), including message handling, work management, job and print control, device management, system configuration, system security, data/file transfer, and systems integration.
- Perform problem isolation, definition, resolution and follow-up for system, application, and customer issues.
- Create reports and data extracts using query tools or SQL as supported by DB2 for IBM iSeries.
- Install, upgrade, configure, test and maintain third party software applications.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the Utility Billing System applications and how they are used in our environment.
Compensation:
$40/hr to $55/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
