Position: Staff Design Researcher

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Design Researcher to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment.

Location:

Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $141,520 – $208,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end qualitative and quantitative design research on exploratory projects
  • Provide frameworks connecting research findings to business strategy and prioritize opportunities
  • Distill complex data into clear narratives for stakeholders including executives
  • Collaborate with Product and Design to test hypotheses through concepts and prototypes
  • Advocate for customer interests in decision-making to inspire impactful solutions
Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in design research or user research, preferably in innovation contexts
  • Proven leadership in zero-to-one research programs in high-growth tech companies
  • Mastery of diverse research methods including ethnography and rapid concept validation
  • Experience handling qualitative and quantitative data, with a balance of strategic and tactical skills
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with executive presence
  • Passion for collaborative, cross-functional work with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in HCI, Design, Psychology, Anthropology, or related discipline
