Summary:

We're seeking a Systems Engineer to support a high-availability broadcast and media production environment. This role will focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving production systems, infrastructure, and workflows that support live operations.

We're seeking a Systems Engineer to support a high-availability broadcast and media production environment. This role will focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving production systems, infrastructure, and workflows that support live operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and administer broadcast and production technology systems
• Troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment
• Implement technology upgrades and workflow improvements
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
• Partner with production and business teams to deliver reliable solutions

• 3+ years of experience in broadcast engineering, media production, or similar environments
• Experience with VMware or other virtualized infrastructure platforms
• Background supporting live production, broadcast operations, or other 24/7 critical systems

• Experience with technologies such as Evertz, Grass Valley, Ross, Avid, Dalet, Vizrt, ENPS, or similar
• SDI, NDI, and/or ST 2110
• Newsroom, production, or media asset management systems
• Broadcast infrastructure and signal flow
• Networking, storage, Windows Server, and Active Directory

• Strong broadcast engineering foundation
• Experience supporting television, live production, sports, or media environments
• Comfortable working onsite in DFW
• Hands-on problem solver who thrives in operational environments

Note:

Candidates with backgrounds focused solely on cloud, software development, databases, or enterprise IT without broadcast/media experience are unlikely to be a fit.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
